Today we’ll spend the whole day exploring Kyoto with a professional Russian-speaking guide. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its breathtaking views of Kyoto. In spring, during the cherry blossom season, the temple is surrounded by a flurry of pink blossoms, and in autumn, the entire grounds blaze with red and orange autumn leaves. Afterward, we’ll head to the jewel of Kyoto—the Golden Pavilion. The building stands on the shore of a mirror-like lake. The gleam of the gold leaf covering the walls shimmers in the sunlight and reflects off the water’s surface.
